A Missouri family recently tasted the celebrity on the net after sharing a series of hilarious “professional photos” that paid nearly $ 250.

Dave and Pam Zaring were contacted by a middle-aged woman who proposed herself as an experienced professional photographer.

The couple decided it was time to do a family photo shoot, so he accepted the offer of the so-called professional photographer.

The couple with their two children went to St. Louis, where he paid the photographer about $ 250 to take some pictures that he had to portray as a big happy family.

The alleged photographer did her “job” after which she reported that she would contact them after a few weeks, after having artfully retouched the photos.

After months of waiting, the photographer showed up and finally delivered her work to the family. In the following days the Zarings received a package containing a disc with photos, and they were definitely not what they expected.

The photographer justified her “masterpiece” by saying that on the day of the shots “the shadows were really bad” and that her photography teacher had never taught her how to retouch photos. Furthermore, the woman offered to redo the entire photo shoot if they were not satisfied with the results.

Seeing is believing. With this objective, Nital, the Italian distributor of the Nikon brand, thought of the Yellow Days, four days around Italy to promote Nikon Z50, its first mirrorless in DX format. The appointments are completely free and will be enriched by the presence of expert photographers who will tell their experience with the Nikon Z50. Workshops will also be available in which Nikon masters will share their skills with those present.

“Touch & try” stations will be set up to take hold of the Nikon Z50 and, thanks to the presence of specific models and installation sets, test the functions of the machine, shutter speed and versatility at high ISO. In addition to the Nikon Z50, Nikkor Z lenses and the entire Nikon range will also be available, including the D-series digital SLRs, and all the accessories of the Nikon Total Imaging System.

 

Four events around Italy

The Yellow Days organized by Nital will literally cross the peninsula. Here is the calendar:

– November 16 in Rome , at the Trevi Congress Center in Piazza della Pilotta 4;- November 23rd in Sarmeola di Rubano , in the province of Padua, at Villa Borromeo in via della Provvidenza 61;- November 30 in Moncalieri , in the province of Turin, in Via Vittima in Piazza Fontana 54 at Nital; – the final stage will be in Catania on 7 December at the Sal Catania in via Indaco 17.

All four stages will offer a photo and video area where Nikon’s respective masters will join enthusiasts with suggestions and directions to share their skills. The plenary hall will draw attention thanks to various interventions dedicated, for example, to fashion photography and glamor shots and, of course, to the demonstration of the Nikon Z50 and its features.

The main events of the Yellow Days will be held in the plenary sessions of the various locations. Each intervention will be guided by a Nikon master, who will talk about a particular aspect of photography.

Emanuele Carpenzano , a professional photographer for twenty years and a MasterQep certified by the FEP, will talk about social photography and how the relationship between people and images has changed after the revolution made by smartphones. Carpenzano will also address the critical issues and opportunities of professional photography. Giuseppe Maio (Nital’s Nikon Product Manager) will talk in depth about the technical features of the Nikon Z50 and the first two NIKKOR z zoom lenses in DX format.
